I don't have the title for the car, but I will write a bill of sale if you'd like to get the whole chassis. I got this car from a Navy Vet/ Neighbor I've known for 25 years, and she was storing it in her barn for a friend. It was the friends dad's car, he passed away, and she gave it to my neighbor.
I've already sold some of the parts, taillights, and marker lights are gone. Please pardon all the grime, and dirt. From my estimates, she sat stored since 96. She has a dent on the passenger fender, into the door. She has surface rust on the front, and some pitted rust on the battery tray. All the undercarriage, and floor boards are rust free. At absolute worst, this would make for an excellent donor car for replacement metal. The door still opens, I have the hood/ trunk lid, but they are in my garage, I didn't get pics of them. Trunk lid is perfect, hood has a dent on it, and some front surface rust. No motor as you can see, but as of now I have the twin carbs/ intake. I also have the manual trans, but cannot attest to it's condition, it was pulled when I got it.
If there's anything you are interested in, or have any questions, feel free to email me, thanks!
TR7 Borg Warner 65 Auto Transmission For SalePosted: 2021-2-15
I recently bought a 79 Triumph TR7 Barn find, and this transmission was one of the things that came with it. It was on the pallet, and wrapped in plastic shown when I got it. It appears to be used. It had a mud dobber nest in the cooling line ports. It was also stored in the barn where the TR7 was. It has the flywheel, and torque converter. I took the bottom cover off, as shown in pics. The shaft turns over by hand, beyond that, I don't know much about it. I am asking $500.00 obo.
I'm willing to drive up to 3 hours away from zip code 37641, if I have to, to meet a buyer. Thank you for your interest.
